    Dear Hutton Players,

I am emailing in regard to a handbook I have recently published about Musical Direction. As there is very little published on the subject and formal training is a relatively new thing I decided to write a handbook for MDs, consolidating the techniques I have learned, developed and picked up working in youth, amateur and professional theatre.

I fully appreciate that your Musical Director(s) already know all about this unique art from, but they may nonetheless be interested in reading my own take on it – or may know less experienced, aspiring MDs who may find this handbook interesting. I’ve have an overwhelming positive response from musicians of all ages and experience who’ve read the handbook (including several working professionally in the West End) and so I’m currently trying to spread the word and let people know it’s available.

I’d be grateful if you’d be able to forward this to The Hutton Players’ Musical Director in case it is of interest to them (the official info and amazon link are copied below).

    Best wishes,

    Stuart Morley

I have approved your comment. However, it is not relevant to Hutton Players as we do not produce any musical theatre.
